Clinical Psychology Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS) New Delhi 2008–2010 Ms. Astha Sharma is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology at Nirvan Hospital, Lucknow, where she is actively involved in clinical services, psychological interventions, training, and mental health awareness initiatives. Her areas of clinical interest include adult psychiatric conditions, marital and psychosexual concerns, school mental health, and Indian psychology. Her approach focuses on comprehensive psychological care tailored to the individual needs of patients and their families. During her professional journey, she has been associated with several reputed organisations. She worked as a Senior Consultant at Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi, and was an integral part of Expressions India, an organisation working extensively in the field of mental health and psychosocial well-being. Ms. Sharma has conducted numerous mental health orientation programmes, training sessions, and workshops for students, parents, teachers, corporate professionals, and Army personnel. She has also served as a CBSE Teacher Trainer and as an empanelled Academic Counsellor with IGNOU, contributing to education and capacity building in the field of psychology and mental health. Beyond her clinical and academic work, Ms. Sharma has contributed to public mental health awareness through the media. She has been invited as an expert panellist on television platforms including Zee TV and Lok Sabha TV, as well as on radio programmes, where she has shared her insights on a wide range of psychological and mental health issues. With her extensive clinical experience, academic involvement, and commitment to mental health awareness, Ms. Sharma continues to contribute towards providing professional, compassionate, and evidence-based psychological care.
